OK...I'm officially pissed! So, i had held out (yes my own fault) with hope that NEWS would arrive today, so at least it would save me the trouble of walking to the music store. But...you guessed it, no NEWS (and thats bad news). I ordered this disc ages ago, it seems, and many of us have still not received it. Now, today, we can go the music stores and get it. i don't understand. why did record stores receive it in time, but npgmc members didn't? and before the hopeless sheep come in and tell me to stop being petty, i suggest they read my previous posts on the subject where i insisted people have more patience. well, i'm fresh out of all patience with this man. why were thay seling that disc at the park during that last party, yet i don't have it in my house yet?
i just wanted to vent, so i apologoze for my bitching. and just to clear things up...i will be marking my package "RETURN TO SENDER" when it arrives and demanding a full refund. i'd rather pay more and buy it in a record store now. NPGMC...mmm hmmm... | |

I got my copy last night - right exactly under the gun, one night before it went to retail.
I've ordered from two other artist website online stores since I ordered NEWS, and I got my merchandise within three or four days. But you know Prince - he has that "be thankful that you get it at all" attitude. Meanwhile, with these other artists I've ordered from, I don't even think about the level of customer service - weeks from now, I'll probably even forget that I ordered it online as opposed to hitting the wrecka stow - it'll just be about enjoying the music. Wish I could say that about what I've gotten from NPGMC retail.  | |

its very important that peeps don't think i'm just bitching or moaning. i have been very supportive of npgmc and incredibly patient but this just blows my mind. perhaps if the discs weren't available at the park the other week i wouldn't even be bothered, but that was like a slap in the face. i didn't complain then because i thought "well, it'll be at my place soon enough then". i was wrong. this really is the last straw with p. i don't even think i'll buy the cd at a record store. i'll just have a friend burn it or something. i'm pretty much through supporting him and talking about him. i constantly have to remind myself "hey, J, its just music...don't get so aggrevated". music, and musical experiences, are supposed to make you smile...not leave you annoyed and frustrated (unless, maybe, if there is some social or political topic in the music).
i've met cool peeps here at the org and i'll still pop in and visit the other forums, but as for the prince forums...i just don't care anymore. Damn, i'm really mad  | |

i had a kinda bad feeling this might happen again. so, i never ordered it through the NPGMC. just gonna go buy NEWS at best buy today. maybe tomorrow. whatever i'll still have it before people who ordered through the NPGMC which is a real shame on them | |

Typical. This is why I don't buy from the man. I am STILL waiting for Crystal Ball. It never arrived and they never did anything about it.
