Controversy one of his worst albums? - Are you pissed?
His worst albums are clearly: Emancipation Rave NPS After those three, which should be taken as read, its all about personal taste. I for instance hate Come with a passion, but loads on here seem to like it wheras I like C&D and most hate it. But those can't be his worst as differing folks like them. Yes they all have their moments (well not all but most) and TRC did show some return to form but I can't really be done with all the preaching. You newbies just don't realise just how good he was in the 80s, believe me I was there & he ain't ever gonna be that good again (though I'm still abig fan & completist). | |

Fair enough. I've never considered it one of his best, but I think he's done far worse.This is the one album from him that I have not liked at all since day one and it never grew on me. He's made other albums that I didn't like right away, like NPS, Rave, or Come, but after some time I put them on and Ithey sounded good...they are still not the best thing he's ever done, but certainly not the worst either. Symbol has actually gotten worse over time for me. He seemed to be just copying different music styles and the whole Kirsty Ally thing just annyoed the shit out of me. I missed Rosie Gaines and of course, it also has Tony M on it  . | |

.I'll co-sign that. One of the problems I have with this album (apart from the songwriting being inconsistent, but then the same could be said of most of his albums since) is that he just seems to be trying too hard to cram as many different styles into it. It simply doesn't flow very well. | |
