STILL WOULD STAND ALL TIME

This song is a late comer to my ears and man, it is full of hope IMO.

What do you think of this one? I love it.

This has always been one of my favorite Prince songs off my favorite Prince album. It is very hopeful.

This has always been one of my favorites too. It sort of reminds me of an uplifting gospel tune. There's a spiritual quality that comes through that sounds like 'The Truth' and hopeful reassurance. heart

It makes you wonder though, where the hell did that man go?

Anyway, I love this song. The ending is goosebump inducing.

Full of hope this certainly is.

I remember it was the first song I played (to myself) after watching those planes go into those two buildings on TV.

Hearing 'Still Would Stand All Time' definitely brought a much needed measure of relief.

With songs like that, I sometimes wish Prince was Baptist to have a choir in the background, great effects lol

The Small Club version is simply amazing, as is the Taylor Dayne duet - I can't think right now, are there anymore versions?

That man fell off Graffiti Bridge. His ego was injured quite badly following the lacklustre response to said project. As a result, artistic integrity went out the window, hip-hop was embraced in a big way and a few more units were subsequently shifted when 'Diamonds And Pearls' was released.

Does that answer your question?
