Which were Prince's Greatest...

TV MOMENTS .. in your opinion?

The premier of a video?

A Music Award Performance?

Interviews?

etc...

His performance of Partyup on SNL. Knocking that mic stand down like he owned the joint...

Prince on The Muppet Show was a real treat for me, since I´m a big fan of both.

The interview he did with Mark Goodman on MTV back in '86. It was at the taping of the video for "America", he was wearing this beige trench coat and had "extras" from the video sitting all around him.

He wouldn't speak directly to the interviewer at all, in fact, he had them write the questions on 3X5 cards and give them to his manager (steve fargnoli?) to read to him. He answered directly to the camera, as if he were talking to you...

The responses were candid and humorous... the video was slammin'! I have it on VHS somewhere... smile

What about that VH1 interview he did with Chris Rock back in '97? I thought that was one of his best.

...Oh yes, and I cannot leave out Pay-Per-View's showing of Rave Un2 the year 2000.

I have a relatively decent copy that I downloaded from Kazaa. You can probably still find it there.

Muppets Tonight is pretty cool ("Gonzo, you are definately working those pumps and fishnets")

But, for me it has to be Peach from MTV European Awards 94.
His last, great rock performance.THAT'S how to play a guitar!

Ok.help me out here... It was the AMAs or something like that where all the performers joined on stage at the end to sing...some song shrug And Prince just stood there with the lollipop. Then when they put the mic in his face he offered back the lollipop, and didn't participate.

classic! smile

You the chica, fingasnapz! This is my first choice too! Thanks for posting the pic and comment. Very on point!

I actually remember when that appearance originally aired. I was so excited. Finally, Prince speaks! NOT! He seemed painfully shy and or nervous.

I also remember an appearance on either the Midnight Special (with Wolfman Jack) or Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. I remember he sang "Sexuality."

Ah...the good ol' days. *swoon*
