I Would Die 4 U-The 30 Minutes Long Version I neva appreciated IWD4U till I heard this piece. I still don't really fantasize the released version simply becoz it doesn't have that psychedelic instrumental in the long version. Whew,,,now that was a hot one indeed,,,lil' abit of everything. I love the sick/twisted sound esp at the end and Prince when "Gimme some o' that space,," something, I didn't catch the rest.

It's great to have finally yeah - but to be honest I find it too strung-out to listen to in one go
I much prefer the 12" mix - which incidently was edited from the 30minute marathon. Now that is tight kick ass choon with latin samba galore! | |

the 30 min+ version was recorded in october 1984
during rehearsals for the Purple Rain tour. It was edited down to about 10 minutes for the 12" release. | |
