and thank god for the four or five guys who came in around 12:30! there wasn't much going on, just great music...not too much dancing. then these guys came in. they walked right through the door and onto the dance floor, bustin' loose! they were so fucking funny! and they got everyone else to get over their shyness and start dancing.

if you are one of those 4 or 5 white guys...thanks for getting that party started!

Yes, actually I did see you. It's so funny because I started to approach you to find out if you were on the org or not. I got tired of asking people if they were clubmembers or orgers so I stopped after a while. I had on a maroon sleeveless top and a skirt with a split up the side and I spent a lot of time sitting on one of the stages talking to two friends of mine. I was the geeky black chick in the glasses.

Are there a lot of people at these parties. I live pretty close to the bar its held at. I have been interested in going for a LONG time but I can't drag any of my friends to it. Believe me I have tried to, but I have yet to convince anyone to go (it has more to with the fact that my friends are a bunch of homophobes and REFUSE to go to bar considered to be a gay bar more than it being a Prince party). My girlfriend said she'd go with me, but always works on Sunday night (shes a bartender). Anyway, is it worth going to? Are the people friendly? I am consdering on going alone...

I went last month by myself, and I had a good time. I also tried to drag friends with me, but to no avail. You will have a good time going by yourself. Although I think it would be more fun with people you know. It starts hopping after 11:30PM.

Its good to see a thread with people expressing joy and absolutely no bitching at all. The fact that you went and all had a good time is fantastic. Prince still manages to bring some of us joy even now whne all people seem to want to do is put him down. Brilliant.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I AM going to make it one of these times, that's fo sho. Look for the dorky 30ish Irish looking guy stadning alone and say hello. That'll help me get over my dorkiness and start bumpin to the tunes.
