Sadly, I don't think people care enough to make a big deal out of Prince's latest stunt. Metallica commands a lot of media attention still, and they aren't notorious for a history of screwball comments and incidents.
I think Prince cried wolf for the last time a long time ago. Nobody's listening anymore. Even the hardcore fans are taking his crusades du jour with a grain of salt anymore. It's a shame, because he's done a lot for pioneering alternatives to working within the music industry - he could be seen in such a more dignified light - but he doesn't WANT that. | |
