Seems like we're being threatend with a whole Purple rain milking session next year i.e. DVD, out takes, etc. Given the choice for next year would you prefer a new kick ass ' i'll show em that i still got it' cd or the money making exercise in revisting Purple rain. Personally i'd have both!!!. , but given the choice i would have new music any day. How about you?.

I really don't know. I would love to see a 2 or 3 CD set with all the songs that didn't make it onto purple rain, including the ones by other artists that where in the film. Plus a decent DVD. But I also love to get new music. I suppose i would have to say that new music would be better, but why can't we have both. Get his lackies to compile the purple rain stuff while he gets on with making new stuff.

Nah, This probably won't happen.

He'll turn around next year and say:

"u guys didn't have my back last year when i wanted u 2 send back my CD's, so no Purple Rain DVD for u"

Either that or Warner's won't co operate with his ass (or the most likely, Prince won't co operate with them)

The Purple Rain dvd would only be cool if Prince were to do commentary and interviews on it. Otherwise there's no point.
