lol i am French and i was living in France at the time ... i even saw them together at Les Bains Douches nightclub ...she was like `Yes Prince is my friend `etc she was talking about him everywhere tv,press etc but suddenly she stopped to mention him at all ...it was in 1993 .waow many memories ...sigh what a time !! Prince was always hanging in Paris during these years 1992 93 94 !! that was so cool ... | |

She has a song that was the basis for Christina Aguillera's "What A Girl Wants". Apparently its a total steal. I'm dyin to know which track it is as I am not familiar with Ophelie's work and dont speak-a da French. Anyone know? Purplehead | |

She was rumoured to have recorded a French version of 'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World' with Prince, but this has never surfaced - if it exists.
It has been suggested that Prince wrote a song for her, although - whatever song this is - her version has never emerged. I have also seen it suggested that it is her voice at the start of '319'. She guested on stage at Le Zenith, Paris, during 'Come On' in 1998. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |
