I have absolutely no idea why everyone on this website is being so negative. It seems that everyone feels "this is the last straw", that "this is the end of prince". What utter rubbish, i have 2 question their intelligence. Prince is simply highlighting an important issue surrounding his music. Personally, if i were in his position i would ask 4 my fans' help. After all, we are supposed 2 b his supporters and we should support him and his art. Is everyone on this site a WB employee or something???

We all know Prince has spent a long time trying 2 protect his music from record companies, Brazilian Bootleggers. Can u not see that this kind of thing is in our best interests. Right now, Prince is unable 2 rerelease his back catalogue, and right now there will be no Purple Rain anniversary!

The fact that u support illegal activity over genuine artistic work is beyond all explanation. In my opinion, these naysayers, whingers, and WB employees should "GET the Hell OUTTA HERE!

It's hard to embrace your objectivity when you spell your posts in Princebonics.

let me just say that i am the first to be down with Prince's cause...but i ain't sending him any of my music that i bought with my damn money especially since he is a multi-millionaire already.
if he wants to challenge the label then he needs rethink his strategy and he needs to rethink how he is going to speak to his fans. no his 'fams'..cuz you don't treat family like that.
he came up with the idea of 'fams' so he needs to respect his own damn ideas as well.

And another thing, positivity is great, but life ain't always that way. This place would be quite boring if the people you told to "get the hell outta here" did just that.
Anyone who's here has to like something about Prince whether you're the person who loved "purple rain" and think everything else is horrible, or if you've loved everything he's ever put out, or are somewhere in the middle (like me).
Now, for the people that hate prince and everything he's ever done and are just here to diss him,those are very sad individuals and you really shouldn't be giving them as much attention as you are, IMHO.
