we all know emenim is basically a asshole ,I even heard that J LO was a bitch and that even madonna is a person hard to work with, yet people tend to like them, so my question is, why is it okay for some stars to be assholes and not okay for Prince???

well for starters, nobody really pays that close attention to p anymore in order to know that he, too, is a complete brat...folks are too busy havin their lips planted on the aforementioned people's behinds, tryin to get the inside scoop for an emptee-vee special or whatever.

Other celebs. get a way with it because they are only going to be around for a short while where as Prince has been around for 25 years and people expect more from his at this point. The pop stars you mentioned are just flavor of the moment, here today gone tomorrow image pop performers with little to no hope of ever sticking it out in the long run. We can tolerate them becuase we know it will be over with soon enough. But Prince doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. And as we are all expected to mature as we get older so is Prince. So when he does something that causes him to be perceived as an asshole he is bashed harder then the other becuase, well, he should know better by now.

Just a impromptu theory that popped into my sleepy little head. That's all.

I have always heard that Madonna is a great person to work with.She's professional,knows what she wants,but is not a bitch about it,and she accepts input from others.

Oh, Lisa, it is definately okay for Prince to be an asshole. That's why it's easier for me to focus on the music and not the man. I just have this feeling that, even if I could get to know him personally, I wouldn't like him.

Would I get a thrill out of meeting him for a second or shaking his hand or saying "hey" in a club? Yeah, I won't lie.
