Dunno maybe "The Max" from the symbol album.
Like your name, is it a Robbie reference? Anna

There was a cosmetics commercial here in Canada recently that used a rip-off of Erotic City. It wasn't Erotic City but it was so close that anyone who hasn't heard the tune in a while would think it was.

Yeah, We had that advert in the UK too. Such a rip off I'm amazed they were not sued. .

There's another one very close to "Overload" by the Sugababes.
So close... but probably different enough so they can get away with it - or at least make the artists think twice about suing. Should they mess with P though?!

Yeah, We had that advert in the UK too. Such a rip off I'm amazed they were not sued. I saw the ad last night and thought of this thread. It sounds a lot like Erotic city. It's a good track, I like it even though it's ripped off. NOTE: THIS ACCOUNT IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE CONTACT “K A M L L E”

They seem to do it with every advert
there's another one that's blatantly "It ain't all good" by Chaka Khan & De La Soul.

Yes, I've seen that ad!!
It didn't register that it was a Prince song, until I'd seen it about 50 Times It is not Prince's version, but it is definitely the same song I don't think the model is Linda Evangelista, but she's beautiful ********************************************

THE REASON THEY DO THIS IS A:THE TRACK IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO USE (SOMETIMES THEY HAVE TO PAY RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS TO USE A TRACK £5000/£9000 AND VARIOUS OTHER FIGURES) OR B: THE ARTIST WILL NOT ALLOW THE TRACK TO BE USED.
IF IT IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH USING SESSION MUSICIANS AND PAY THEM A HELL OF A LOT LESS. IF IT IS DIFFERENT (EVEN SLIGHTLY) THEY CAN DO IT.
