yeah, 10 months ago. that was shortly before realizing that it only made prince look like an ass for suing someone for $10M that had nothing.

yeah, i bought all that stuff while i was unemployed... Yet you can't throw Prince a few bucks??? 
and um... as for throwing him a few bucks, i am a member of the npgmc, so he got $25 for nothing this year. | |

Interesting.I did this very thing for him probably 7-8 yrs ago.I sent him,his lawyers anyway in New York via contacts at Paisley Park every single bootleg I owned.50+ bootlegs in total with a few reciepts.They wanted to check them out and try and figure out who manufactured them I guess.Well everyone that knew me said I was nuts,but I sent them anyway.But nothing is cooler than having someone call your house from paisley park looking to speak with you.My friend happen to answer the phone,they were tripped out prince's people were calling me.Anyway they did what they did,sent them ALL back to me,and added some nice goodies in for the trouble.It was an interesting time and Id do it again if theyd ask.
On a funny side note,the reason I helped them out was something Id seen in Uptown mag,the one he ended up taking to court.Crazy. | |

No actually it pissed me off they went after that mag.Specially condsidering like I said.It was because of that mag I even called Paisley Park to begin with,I LOVED that mag and probably still would if I still got it.
Which brings me to another point about all that ,that really gets me pissed.I mean I bought all those bootlegs in real stores for at least $25 bucks each.Now when the day comes and we fans cut out the overpricing greedy middleman,they all wanna complain about file sharing.Screw that,the stuffs out there,what would you rather have happen after the stuff has somehow managed to leak.Let them charge your fans 25 bucks or more a pop,or bring it back to that fans and share for free,whats already been stolen.You cant blame us.They wanted to do something about it,they god damn shouldve done something about it when those stores all over the world were selling them making a profit.Now that the balls in our court ,its screw file sharing.That burns me up,Im glad I dont have to pay some ass 25 bucks for money P wasnt getting in the first place. | |
