I acknowledge Prince's musical genious but for some reason I just haven't been able to get into him since his early days.

It made no since to me because I like almost all his spin-off projects so I tried to understand why. And I think I've found out.

In my opinion his music/live shows have become over done. Dancers, Horns, Keyboards etc...Too much distraction for me (especially if I forget my medication . I'd love to see him go back to basics and do a 3 piece hard core power combo. A Band Of Gypsies kinda thing. Like Jesse did in the Bare My Naked Soul days. Maybe him on guitar, Andre' on Bass, Morris on skins. They all can sing and arrange. And don't release a studio product. Go LIVE only. Play in smaller venues.

It'd be a welcome change to all this over produced circus crap everyone is doing now.
