DJ Brother Jules Remix, what is this? Ive seen this in the stores for awhile now but dont know much about it. Should I pick it up? How do I know if its real and what are the tracks? Thanks! | |

It was a mix of various Prince songs sold out of DJ Brother Jules Music Emporioum in MPLS, and for a short period by mail order. I believe it came out in 2000. The original CD also has the 'Hot Wit U' (Nasty Girl remix) and 'Man O' War' (Remix) which subsequently featured on the Rave In2 album, and 'Underneath The Cream' which was later issued on a CD singles sold at Hit 'n Run concerts, and then was available for download through NPGMC. The quality of the CD was not fantastic.
The running order of tracks is basically: Pop Life She's Always In My Hair Big Fun Face Down Violet The Organgrinder Gangster Glam Joint 2 Joint Return Of The Bumpsquad P. Control Billy Jack Bitch Hot Thing Kiss 17 Days Housequake with a few other things thrown in ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

A kick ass  mix of Prince's songs even put a
