Prince & Latin fanbase

Just wondering, why is it 'Prince' hasn't played any shows in the latin countries as much if any?

The First that I knew of him to perform for a latin audience was during his Septimo Show back in 1999!
Prior to that, I really can't think of any performances scheduled in my homeland of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republica or Puerto Rico or even Cuba!

I have tons of family in the Dominicana, who are familar with him, but not really educated on his work.

Being that I am a huge fan of Prince and my family who come to visit or that I visit, see his pictures or cds and often ask is he Latino or Blk... I thought this was interesting, that don't know much of him and I know other ppl from different countries like the arabic and Indian countries that don't know him at all.

Kinda sad, when they all know Micheal, Madonna, and Pop stars of the day.

Do you know of any other countries that 'Prince' may have played or why he doesn't?

I'm Dominican AND i know for sure he has never gone there -- part of his problem is that he does not know how to market himself. if he did he would be making more money. he is too concentrated on English speaking audiences alone, that's his bad.

Papá, yo soy boricua, y todavía estoy esperando que venga aquí a Puerto Rico a tocar con su banda.
