Prince Live ONA on Detroit A/C R&b Radio Station Mix 92.3FM The Best Variety Of Hits & Oldies...Played 4 songs from the ONA Live Box Set for their Saturday Night Live Show...I happened to turn on my radio, which was automatically set to the station, because I'm so tired of the same songs being played over and over again and besides if I hear Eastside Boys and Lil Jon one more time, I'll probably throw my radio out the door!
But Lord Behold...Prince's Voice and The Live audience...from Do Me Baby, Diamonds and Pearls, Nothing Compares 2 U, & Sometimes it snows in April...It was amazing to hear this latest live show on the radio and on one of the most popular hit stations in detroit. This station plays all the newest trax in r&b and alot of the old school favorites at night! This was the best!!! People were calling in throughout the set, saying how they loved the live versions of these songs and wanted to know where they could get the live show... There were tons of calls... and ppl say Prince is forgotten, hmmm makes me wonder if Prince signed a good deal to a label that would promote his music, how the perception would be? I think the world is ready for another Prince record and definitely a catchy pop tune and some old school flavored Prince Ballad...in the 2003! Prince WE LOVE YOU IN DETROIT!!! They did the same thing about 2-3 months ago. Played a select set of tunes from the live set ONA. My brother called me from his cell phone and was flipping out in his car when he heard this.
It did sound awesome to hear something live from Prince on the radio for once. Man, I remember when his shit was on all the time. Those were the days. Peace, . "

I think it would be great if Prince worked more on pushing the box set...in a limited edition version of it, including a dvd/video from the las vegas show with soundchecks... plus adding the Xpectation & N.E.W.S releases.
