The Truth Cover Art - Here It Is

Sorry to start a new topic, but the server kept timing out when I was searching for the original post asking about the cover art. I downloaded these when "The Truth" first came out...dont' know how "official" they are:

Front Cover:

at the time.

We're all "illiterate bastards" now, Rumpofteelskin, nobody needs to get fired...it's called evolution.

It's interesting to note that Prince, unwittedly or not, by his use of Princebonics pre-empted the now ubiquitous text-messaging trend that afflicts our daily way of life by at least twenty years.

We have all been dumbing down quite inexorably, whether one cares to admit to it or not...

Evolution my ass. If memory serves me correctly "amore" means amour in Italian. The end result was the same.

Nobody is arguing about the meaning of "amour", whether it be in French, Italian or any other language.

It's not a capital offence, but as far as accuracy is concerned, supplanting "amour" with "amore" still reads like a sloppy screw-up, much more so if it's related to record cover artwork.

Nobody in Prince's camp can spell for shit, apparently - and spell check is too much trouble. On NEWS, they credit Eric Leeds with playing the saxaphone. LAWD.

Devolution is more like it.
No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

man, Prince should have released this as an official stand alone album. it wouldn't have been a hit but it would have been a creative high.

None of which stopped The Truth from being "a creative high" wink

I think the operative word here is "old", lol! He actually looks older in these five-year-old photos than he does today...
