Just seen the Empty Room vid for the first time (i won't fill you in on the illicit details of how i obtained it!) Background first, loved P since first seeing PR on tv in about '87. Quite new to the internet, and my knowledge of the man is reserved to official releases, and the odd boot. Didn't even know Empty Room existed until reading excited posts here when he debuted it (live at least) at the celebration a while back. I didn't actually hear the song AT ALL until he played it at the first of the London ONA gigs. What an introduction! I got the NPGMC link to the 'soundcheck' version and it also blew my mind. I then (once again, no illicit details) 'aquired' the '95 version. And I have (just this second) seen the vid for the first time. My appreciation of this song just develops! This is probably old news to all the experts here (and so it should be!) but I love that MF!

not exactly sure, around 94-95 he was doing alot of recording, some stuff ended up on Come ,some stuff ended up on Gold, some stuff actually ended up in Glam Slam ulysses, of which i never obtained a really good copy of.. but at any rate,theres so many different versions of songs, like for instance theres an entirely different version of Dolphin in Ulysses, and a diff version of Interactive, and so for and so on,

Definitely a Gold era video, right down to writing SLAVE on his cheek. Wasn't Mayte dressed as an angel in TMBGITW video? Could be filmed around same time (purely speculation!)

btw there are 2 versions of it...one with people (girls from the ad.) and one with p and the NPG this is the gold version.
