I like Symbol, but I can understand why ppl don't.

Ditto for C&D, which is a cool, fun album, but no artistic masterpiece (I guess there r ppl who feel that way about NPS too).

Emancipation is inconsistent (for me the second-half kicks ass, i.e. Disk 3 and the 2nd half of disk 2).

I think the general consensus is that TRC is a return 2 form, and that for most who don't like it, it's because of the content more than the music.

I like Xenophobia. Again, not a masterpiece, but cool grooves.

Haven't heard N.E.W.S. so jury's out, but I'd say most ppl who diss it are either pretentious jazz purists or can't get down with instrumentals.

It's just too bad Prince doesn't get the hint. Maybe cuz some people still waste money on this shit.

actually i hated grafitti bridge and xenophobia and the vault (especially the cover). i was always a prince defender and i still am for worthy work (mainly rvolution)but now i'll be the first to criticise this drivel that he's churning out to fund his canadian suburban adventure.

I just bought and listened to Diamonds & Pearls last night. I can't believe how bad it is. It's such pap, I want to smear it.

How could someone hate Graffiti Bridge? That album is the Purple Rain of the 90's. Bomb ass songs on that one. Tin ears come in all sizes, it seems.

Just heard Chaos And Disorder again today. that's a good album. Fuck ya'all..lol

One good song from a so-called "bad" Prince album is better than a whole album from someone else.
