Uh just to throw in my 2 cents on the issue; Ive always preached that TRC was a piece of garbage, and now I can add B.A.D.N.E.W.S. to that list as well.

"Controversy" is vintage Prince. I hate to sound exclusive, but I find it hard to imagine anyone liking Prince who thinks "Controversy" is a bad album.

Let me say here and now that I love "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic."

The only album I would consider less than average is "New Power Soul," and that has some great cuts on it. The rest are at least decent.
