It was only a couple of days ago i got round 2 really listening 2 this stuff, i upgraded the sound quality of the songs to 320kbs and honestly as an album it is THA BOMB!

The song "High" is amazing

"my medallion" wow!

i also love "judas smile" and "sex me, sex me not" from thi s period!

Man those tracks would have given Madonna a run for her techno money!

There were alot of NPGMC downloads in year 1 but i've no idea what was supposedly going to be on High.

I personally feel this album would have sent Prince back to the top of the POP charts. Yet, I suspect this is not what Prince wanted. His sound now is more mature and contains more "real" music. I'm glad he's using a real drummer and not a machine.

I still love the songs on the HIGH project.

This is my favorite prince stuff in years.. I actually LIKE the fact that he didn't put them on an album, because when he does that (lately) he seems to spoil it. It's kind of like making your own Prince album! You can arrange whatever songs in whatever sequence.. I love the fact that this is pop funkier stuff.. if he wanted to get back on the charts, he should have released this.

is actually not true. This was in reality a CDR that
Prince had made of current tracks that he could lend
to DJ's etc in clubs to play new songs. The majority
of tracks are indeed from the High project, but the
running order is wrong and The Daisy Chain & Gamillah
had already been dubbed as 'NPG' tracks by this point.
