Yes, I think Prince plays the fender rhodes groove underneath. Not bad either.

Prince was showing Renato how to play DP at the soundcheck earlier that night at The Kodak. During the HOB performance he walks over to Renato's keyboard banks & starts that funky riff & then Renato joins in with that epic solo, what a night. There was a version played of Beautiful Strange that you had to hear & see to believe, why this wasn't included I'll never know. I'm hoping this is added to the DVD as an extra because the whole show was filmed. | |
