The aftershow, 3rd disc from the official ONA release. It is just the baddest lick ever. That piano is just hot, and it brings the house down - you know it!

I agree...but I've been told (be people here at the org) that it's actually Renato on this solo...not Prince.

Yes, I think Prince plays the fender rhodes groove underneath. Not bad either.
The whole performance is absolutely top notch!

Prince was showing Renato how to play DP at the soundcheck earlier that night at The Kodak. During the HOB performance he walks over to Renato's keyboard banks & starts that funky riff & then Renato joins in with that epic solo, what a night. There was a version played of Beautiful Strange that you had to hear & see to believe, why this wasn't included I'll never know. I'm hoping this is added to the DVD as an extra because the whole show was filmed.
