I dont get why some people refer to Princes' latest output as jazz

I love jazz but not this crud he seems to be churning out lately

prince can't stay in the same box forever. he's 45 and of course he is grown and evolved his style. i'm glad he has changed it up because there is nothing more embarrasing than an artist trying to re-live the same moment. i guess he's just trying not to become an oldies act

First of all ain't nobody crying I expressed my opinion I been following Prince 4 27 years and I know about the funk my dad toured with Bootsty Colins and The Parliament.I know that only Prince does what Prince does and Prince is pushing and introducing himself as a jazz musician and conversation piece played jazz tunes on Friday.I expect him 2 give his best and this is not it it is creative but not his best.

yes prince is 45 years old ...and what he still can be his best and put out music with energy I like news that is it like and that is my view...howeversomer people fans whatever u call yourselves lap up whatever Prince does I guess the older mature crowd can groove 2 it at the senior church brunch...there is a difference in being creative and playing safe in the parameters of business and religion.

The man don't owe us anything,,, i wish people would stop making reference to that, like fans are welfare recipients waiting for a check. What he as done is conditioned us to expect a new album yearly(from 1984 til 1998 or there abouts).So if u didn't like BATMAN guess what there was another album out soon after. Anyway, some folks are not into indtrumental music,,, Madhouse was cool with the lines from Godfather.
