I did, i thought it was a little bit lame even back then.Prince battling his alter-ego.Plus the cover is very misleading, the artwork inside was done by a trained baboon by the looks of it.

i have that comic. it is nicer on the outside than on the inside. the inside is baboon shit. the outside is nice.

errr sort of , one of my employees bought it for me , which I thought was really sweet - they knew I liked comics and that I liked Prince.

I thought it was a bit crap , but it is special for the sentiment involved from the person that bought it for me and it still sits in a plastic cover with the rest of my comic collection.

Now I don`t follow comics (having finally grown up) I wonder if this sort of thing still happens today - is there a Justin or Christina or Eminem version of this comic ?

Embarassing and geeky. I don't know if Prince approved of this thing. But there was a series of Rock comics...and well, this may have marked the beginning of the end...okay well, there was no end but at least a spiral of mess of the mid 90's. Parke!

Yeah, I have the other one too.

I thought it was kinda neat, I guess it showed how big Prince was at the time.

I wanted to buy it but I couldn't find it anywhere. My sister, who worked at a book store at the time, was supposed to get it for me when it came in but it never did.

Lol. yesterday I eBayed that comic from a guy in the UK.

Inside PP there is a blown up, framed version of
this picture...so I would guess that Prince
authorized it.

I have this also...cool cover.

The "other one" has Prince on his motorcycle on the
cover. It's made by a different comic company.

Actually, there are 3 comic book versions of Prince stories out there. I was able to get multiple issues of each of those and gave a few away to friends 10 years ago. They are more novelty items than great stories and art.

I own quite a bit of one of the 3 vergins (oops I spelled that wrong sorry) you are talking about, I like them, I have the one with Mayte holding a sword in the background that one is pretty good and I have the this one, there is also another one, but cannot think of what it is called,

Who remembers Naughty Nelson? It was in Controversy mag, wasn't it?

I have 2 copies of it, along with the Prince comics bio, and I believe there was a 3 chains o' gold comic too, which I also think I have.
