I need help reading the NEWS!!!!

I just downloaded the MSN version of NEWS, however when it plays on the WIndows player it skips the entire time plus it won't let me burn a cd-r using my Iomega cd-burner. Is there something I might be doing wrong? Please help beacuse I really want to hear this album.
