the "break @ 3" theory, or why there will be no voice album in 2003!

I don't know if anybody ever noticed this pattern:

in 1983 there was no official prince album.
in 1993 there was also no official prince album,
beside the hits album, that I don't count.

so I don't think, that there will be a voice album in 2003.

maybe this theory is a little bit queer, but at the end
of this year we will see.

anyway, for me it's fine, n.e.w.s. is just great.

I dunno.

I know Prince is all into psycho-babble and bullshit, but I don't think he planned some cyclical release system.

This is an interesting theory. Knowing Prince, I wouldn't be surprised. Even if he didn't plan it back in '83, he might have thought of it later...

I'll take that theory a bit further. In 84 Prince had a huge hit with "Purple Rain". In 94 he had a huge hit with "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World". Just imagine what awaits us next year. hmmm

1+1+1 is 3?

I don't think it's deliberate, 83 he was tied up with making music, touring and filming Purple Rain, and 93 was just Warners putting on the breaks on any releaseto concentrate on sole promotion of the Hits, they would have nixed any CD Prince presented the company that year.
