mawnin, dahlings!!!

welp, i just got back from paisley and lemme tell ya, it beat the hell outta the last party there wuz. here's how it went for me:

i went along with endorphin74 and violett (kitty squad, yay!)...we got out to chanhassen at about 11-ish, made a pit stop at the superamerica up the road from the park to get caffeine n'shit and money...came to paisley, and there wuz no line! we were all surprised, folks were awready in the place! and another surprisin thing: we didn't get 'wanded' (they usually have this metal detector wand-thing they use to search folks comin in)!!! we were like, "whoa!!!" we just paid our $7 ducketts and went in.

there were about...oh, 50+ people there (ballparkin that figure), and we were all in the smaller room next to the soundstage (aka 'the l4oa room'). the stage wasn't set up or anything...it wuz basically a dance party this time around, which wuz awesome...and yes, prince wuz in the house and kept poppin up behind the soundboard a couple times throughout the night.

(quick run-down on what ol' boy looked like n'all, for my fellow orgettes: he had on this pajama-like joint that had me thinkin, "he lookin like hugh hefner tonight, uh-oh!!!" hair's still short, still lookin fine as hell but i swear to ya, i wanted to hop over that damn soundboard with a bowl of black-eyed peas and feed his ass...)

cool thing: the dj put on "cool" by the time, and while it wuz on, ol' boy wuz behind the soundboard, playin these lil' synth lines along with the cut. the shit wuz hot.

also, a bit of the las vegas dvd wuz played at one point...had some folks flippin the fuck out cuz they seen themselves on there at one point.

me and the kitties didn't stay till the very end of the party, we left kinna early...i just got in the door at 3 a.m., changed outta my clothes and hopped on the pooter and, well, here i am...

I really was in a dilemma about going but I've got loads of stuff to get done at work today and I needed my beauty sleep. Unfortunately I'll miss tonite too, as I'm visitng my parents and traveling to a family reunion. (Oh, the things I give up for my family!)

as for some of the questions put up on this thread:

1) yep, mani wuz behind the soundboard w/ prince at one point...she scared the hell outta me, cuz she wuz lookin a lot like vanity from far away.

2) i knew somebody wuz gonna be askin me about the 'fro... i honestly couldn't really tell, it wuz too dim in the room and i wuz pretty far away from the soundboard. if i see 'im again tonight i'll tell ya if he's rockin the naps.
