Which insturments do u think Prince plays better ? I was just watching sign o' the time on video and I was thinking that, Prince plays the guitar alot more better then he plays the piano. I'm not saying he doesn't do a good job on the piano, but I think he skillz most definetly lye in rocking the guitar, doesn't matter if it's accoustic or electric I always feel him more in the guitar in any other insturments he plays, which brings me 2 my prior question... which insturments do you think Prince plays the best? intriguing question.
his piano work is a gift he downplays (showcases) LIve but for all the piano players on this site i think the boy's pretty DANGEROUS here. He has a nice combination of "gospel and jazz" in his playing...i suppose his dad's influence is major in this underrated talent of his. (i dig the solo he does for CHERRY moon..cool shit peeps!) he's underrated on bass, too. i guess because he showcases his guitar skills the most its proper to say its guitar he plays the best. but i think one's answer depends on the instrument U favor the most. cuz i liked playing the guitar back when he came out that's the second reason i GOT into the boy. the first was his singing skillz. now that's an instrument the man uses WELL. the only R& B FAVE of mine who's better at using all of his voices (octaves) is MARVIN. he and p are DA BEST at this. (ttd'S NOT bad) (cool thread!)

Ok, with the expection of Piano & Guitar I'd have to go with Synthsizers & Bass,,,he's wild when he play these. I wish I could hear him play the sax tho,,,Candy & Leeds said that he was decent on the sax.
