Unfortunately Prince is too much of a pussy to go on a show where he's actually challenged with questions instead of answering those which he pre-approved beforehand.

But if he actually did this, Prince could prove that he's still alive to a massive audience. Plus if he performed a kick-ass rock song on there, he could actually earn back some recognition. Too bad this will never happen...

Next topic nothing. It would be a bold and smart move on Prince's part. It would show that he's not afraid to answer the "real" questions we'd all like answered, and it would also show us that he's got an ounce of coolness left in him. He would never go on the show cuz he's afraid.

And besides, Howard isn't a jerk. He's a real talented dude who gets to the real nitty gritty, instead of just kissing the ass of every celebrity that walks in there. Plus, he gets major celebs and personalities on his show. So to be on there is actually a pretty big deal.

It would be great if Prince went on Stern's show! But you're right EvilWhiteMale, it's never going to happen.
Of course, I never thought that he would go on the Muppet Show either so kookier things have happened.

Howard once referred to Prince as "the artist that people formerly cared about" and I doubt that Prince would ever forgive him.

Honestly, I think Howard would show him a lot of respect, cuz he is a fan of his old music. Bit at the same time he'd be like "Prince, what's going on with you these days, man? What's with all this madness?" It would be an awesome interview.

most interviews with any celebs (prince or otherwise) are checked over by that particular person's PR rep. do you think any of these "rock stars" do anything before making sure their ego isn't damaged? prince is no exception.

There's a big difference. Tons of celebs go to the Stern show, without knowing the exact questions he's gonna ask, just that they know what type of questions he'll ask. They go in at their own risk, and Prince can't do that. He can't handle it like most people can. It's really unfortunate.
