Craziest place you've heard a Prince song...

Where is the craziest, most unexpected place that you've heard a Prince song being played?

Mine- I heard "Extrordinary" being played where I work (they usually play adult contemporary overhead). It was shortly after the Vault-Old Friends For Sale CD came out.

When i was like 15 (1987) I walked in to this club and noticed that the placed was drenched in this red light. Looked up on stage and who do I see sing "Little Red Corvette" but Prince himself...I woke up about 2 minutes later only to find that I was not in the club anymore, but in my own bed, the radio was playng "Little Red Corvette" and it had some how creeped into my dreams.

The craziest place I've ever heard a Prince song was in that club, in my dreams...

On a current event TV show about dog shows. They played let's go crazy and baby i'm a star. The dogs sure went nuts, but looked 4 the purple bone, not bananna.

Just before Titanic in a small movie theatre in Glasgow, I heard Sex In The Summer - completely unexpected. When was Titanic out? Way after Emancipation, anyway...

But one time I did play DMSR and a church dance I was DJing. Can't say it was unexpected from my point of view though since I was the one who put it on. Took my mom all of 60 seconds to get to the DJ table and make me take it off lol

Extraordinary is AC so it makes sense they were playing it. It's the kind of song I could imagine Phil Collins or Barry Manilow singing. It's a cool song but it's not what I could call funky.

My wife saw a Bollywood movie where everyone was singing & dancing along to "Batdance". But not the original version; it was a bastardized Bollywood version.
