Prince's most 'Feelgood' album

4 me,it is *DirtyMind*
smile . smile smile . smile smile . smile
hardly used 2 play this one in full...
but in the last week i havent stopped playing it.

something about it...the "fuck u! im'a live my life &
have fun dammit!" attitude.
"where i come from,we dont let society tell us how it's sposed 2 b!/our clothes our hair we dont care,it' all about being there"
perhaps 1 of my fave all time Prince lyrics.

Every song makes u smile,makes u dance,gives u a beautiful outlook on life.

i think this one will b pumpin' in the car almost everyday on the way 2 work.

4 u,which Prince album is the one u put on 2 get happy...get in the party mood...feel like you're on top of the world?

feel good?

Emancipation-Very refreshing sense of freedom

LoveSexy-Freedom of spirituality, a change, something new

New Power Soul- It really wasnt about musicianship, or any of that, it was a feel good/party about life.. just having fun.. thats how I see it.

Those are the feel good one's to me.. wink

I'm going with Parade.

The drums, strings and fan fare of Christoper Traceys Parade are just really alive - like a street carnival in the Summer.

The steel drums of New Position, the erotica of I Wonder U and Girls & Boys, the boistrous noise of Life Can Be So Nice - the title is often thought inspid, "nice", but I think it's just when you're upbeat, you get a bit silly or giddy, and life can be so... nice! (I adore the middle-part too, the breakdown, yum!)

Venus de Milo is like a late Summers evening breeze watching the sunset go down talking about the crazy times in our past.

Mountains (especially the extended mix) is just positivity personified in a song, it's just pulsing with it! I was groovin' to the 12" just yesterday actually, and I had to get up and dance round the house like a fool because it had me right there! cool

Do U Lie, sweet and fun, Kiss, same but I always skip it!

I guess the album ends on a sombre moment, and has UTCM, but I still feel the album is like a ray of sunshine.

Awww, I love Parade! love

Purple Rain by far is the most feel good album. The title track is inspirational.

I would say Parade. That album just feels like spring to me. Of course, you'd have to turn off the cd before "Sometimes it snows.." for it to be a really feelgood album, but whatevs

Oh yeah! I forgot Parade. boxed

Dirty Mind, 1999 & Sign 'O' The Times deserve a mention from me, too.
