to answer this thread's question and as a pompous know it all guitarist myself...

PRINCE is a lot better on many fronts than Eddie Hazel, though I still love EH's playing.

Hmm...you kinda getting carried away. It's alright to be a major fan of anyone but Prince is justing cloning both Eddie and Jimi. To say he plays better than the architects is stretching reality.

When Prince plays America that's all Eddie influenced.
But they both are great in their own right. Eddie never got no exposure.
