and i think it's great. i know there is are a lot ppl out there who think it's not good but i reall think it's fon-kay as hell plus Prince plays a lot of guitar on it. in fact, i think it's the funkiest thing Prince has performed in ages! all the performances are superb, The Time just about made me jump out the window - shit they rock. Larry Graham is tight altho he made The Christ a bit cheesy. the performances where he takes centre stage (whenever Prince lets him lol) are deliciously funky. not enuff of George Clinton tho. that clip is just a nasty tease. good to see Kirky J just in the background, not too many shots of him. he does play a good drum tho. Lenny Kravitz gets the necessary help he usually needs to be fonky on American Woman and Fly Away - and boy is it hella fonky. It's interesting to see Prince playing second fiddle to major music star like Kravitz as well. Rosie, Rosie, Rosie...surely she is the most loved Prince protegee other than the Time.

Prince just rocks the house on that guitar of his. The Christ is FANTASTIC and so is Purple House. Get Off is sooo fonky even tho it is short. Prince looks like he had such a great time. i recommend it if anyone hasn't got it yet.

in the UK, go to www.play.com. it's quite inexpensive and there is no postage charge. i also got Purple Rain on DVD. i'll be watching that one tonight.

Personaly, I like some moments from over and over there and thats it. Prince seemed as if he's dealing with the whole thang as if he want to get it over with if you know what I mean, he just doesn't seem hyped or intrested(bored in a word).

But my FAVE moments are: The Kiss pre4mance is THE FUNKIEST eva(I wish it wasn't edited tho) very on-point and the horns are just wild. "American Woman" is cool too, I like their cover of Sly's "Everyday People" and I love the WHOLE "nothing compares to you" pre4mance, very cute when the fans where carrying him and when he does the "swimming" moves all the way to the piano.

I also LOVED the fans reaction when they heard "Take Me With U" and followed it up to "Raspberry Berret".

Hey Milty... I loved Rave2000 too & I loved the Rave Un2 cd as well. But u might wanna check those 2 Lenny cuts again, cuz Prince IS NOT playing 2nd fiddle to Lenny @ all. watch how Prince goes wild on those guitar solos. with whoever was on stage Prince was definitly the star of the show! I'll take any dvd from Prince I can get my hands on. The man rocks... wish we could get a new dvd from him every year.
