Can anybody link or post that close up of Vanity and Prince
from Rollingstone, And those pictures of vanity 6 from the same issue. I can't find it!
Those were classics.

he didn't give one for this particular issue. he agreed to the photo session but declined the interview. he didn't speak to the press till the article you had up. the article's basically interviewin other folks who were in p's circle at the time and things like that.

there wuz one site that had the article but the site's gone now.

Yes,I remember that Rolling Stone cover story. It came out in the spring of 1983.Excellent article written by Debby Miller.She was the first journalist to reveal that Prince was planning a movie.In addition to the cool cover photo,there were a few more interesting photos inside.There's a photo of Prince with his hand around his...uh,you know...lol...there's a large photo of Vanity,Susan and Brenda and there is that other photo of Vanity and Prince that y'all posted.



I remember stopping at Thrifty's (our local drug store) to buy this magazine on the way home from school.That was such an exciting time to be a Prince fan.The '1999' tour had just wrapped up,the movie was being planned,etc.
