Songs that should have had maxi-singles...

I just posted in the Jams Of The Year thread that I always wanted Race to have a maxi-single with variations on the theme and music, like the live versions which ranged from country guitar to heavy-synth and horn samples.I didn't want 8 or 9 remixes or versions of the song, but something that worked to listen to the whole maxi-single as one cohesive whole which goes off on tangents. There is a lot to work with in that song.

What other songs deserved maxi-singles like that?

I can think of plenty like that from the Gold era - I always wanted one 45-minute studio groove on Days Of Wild, going off on tangents and going in completely different directions.

Other songs that could work:

Now
Come

What else?
