I think the majority of the song is about Mani, and his relationship with her. "If she could be the muse 2 the pharo then one day she might be queen" is saying that her position within Prince's 'Kingdom' (so to speak) allowed her to get close and become "Queen" i.e his wife. I think most of the record is about events surrounding the break up of the (old) NPG, his break up with Mayte, and his new relationship. As far as the little lines such as that one, my guess is that it has something to do with a specific person person that he doesn't like... maybe a tounge-in-cheek reference to some kind of dirty act that this person committed. I really think that if we had all the dates, facts, and names surrounding Prince's personal and public life in the months proceeding that album we'd know who it was he was talking about.

the opinions expressed here are mine, all of you who care to disagree... be my guest

Some parts are obvious...in that he's talking about black people being sold into slavery. Displaced bloodline I would imagine is black people...since they are the ones being "displaced".

Jailbait is defined as a "girl under the age of consent with whom sexual intercourse is unlawful and constitutes statutory rape."

While I know there were slaveowners who had sex with their slaves...I don't know that it had a purposeful agenda. It's obviously an evil act...but did it serve a purpose?...such as creating another "class" of slaves who worked in the home. (house niggas?)

maybe prince isn't even saying that it was a particular agenda but just that it did happen.

Maybe somebody else can educate me???!!!

All of what you're saying makes sense. I do think that his use of those references is intentional. He wants us to pick up on that, but if we're mixing a discplaced bloodline with white jailbait than we're reversing history. Obviously it would be hypocritical for him to get mad about blacks and whites having sex. That's why I think it's about someone specific and the historical references you pointed out are there to add weight to the insult, but aren't specifically the point.

Does that make any sense?
