Celine Dion - 'with this tear' I'd read about Prince writing this song for Celine but only recently heard it - great track

In Celines biography it says that Prince phoned Celine and told her he had written a song for her and asked if she would record it. It mentions that Prince wrote the song after seeing Celine perform. He was obviously impressed. Peace! | |

I like that Celine song, however she is no match for Mariah, Mariah is by far a more superior singer, more origibal vocal styling and that high register

Gotta say both Mariah and Celine make me want to inflict terrible pain upon myself, but I actually think this song is quite good. She delivers it well, and doesnt over do it, but I would love to hear Princes version.
As for Ms Carey, well Ive heard her take of The Beautiful Ones and quite frankly Id rather she kept her whiny voice well away from all things Prince. | |

I love this song. Can't imagine anyone else singing this song. I love Celine Dion. I could only wish that these two would work together. Or at least have Prince write all the songs for her album. Beautiful composition, beautiful voice, the perfect song. This is definitely one of my top Prince 'associated' songs.  Celine! | |
