As usual people are complaining about a PRINCE release, now that he has ventured into Instumentals, everyone wants vocals, Im sure after 3 or 4 Vocal CDS everyone will want another instrumental. The point being is that no one is ever satisfied. Some people complain about PRINCE losing edge and thats why he doesnt sell alot and chart and be Commercial, lets face it times have changed and PRINCE will NEVER have the Commercial success he had in the 80's to early 90's, the world has changed and so has the industry and just the way people feel about music today. Its all about the flavor of the day. But here is a good point that it has nothing to do with PRINCE and his quality. Sure everything he does isnt perfect but in terms of being commercial as people say Lets say PRINCE released NEWS right after PURPLE RAIN or at least a NEWS type CD, obviously because he wasnt a matured musician and neither was his band at the time. But had PRINCE put that CD out right after PURPLE RAIN it would have been a Commercial success in terms of sales of people just curious about a PURPLE RAIN 2. So baically PRINCE could have put out anything at that point and it would have been a Commercial Success, but today NEWS and ONE NITE ALONE are viewed as falures and bad choices...well not by me.

Yeah...whats the big deal about Prince having commercial succes anyways? I don't care if Prince is on top of the charts or not. I just want more music. Prince a failure? I don't think so.

i am happy with whatever i get.hell i am greatful someone like him is even still making great mewsik.
it's the same as people who beg 4 a Celly or a tour every 2 months!
he finished a tour in december & we come 2 february & people r saying he has lost it & he needs 2 tour again.
he had a bloody busy year in 2002 & released alot of music for us.
more than u will get from anyone else.
(no Ashanti having singles out every month so the wrekka company can cash in on her while she is the 'flava of the week' doesn't count.)

& now with the instrumental stuff...
there is a Prince wrekka 4 every mood/setting,etc...

this is the P stuff i put on b4 bed 2 fall asleep to.
it soothes me.

i think soon tho P will wan2 sing again.
i know i can't go 10minutes without singing something around the house or in the ride.
but then again,it aint us releasing the mewsik,its Prince.
he has the right 2 release what he's feelin' & where he is at musically.
people want commercial success??

he tried 2 get back on top with Rave &,well,it aint his most satisfying release mewsikally or artistically.

i'll take a TRC with amazing mewsik/spirit/emotion & a cult following...
over a RAVE with only a few decent tunes/lacking emotion (but a couple of songs) & #1 hits anyday!

& yes,i am looking 4ward 2 N.E.W.S.
i hope it is what i am expecting from it.
however,i think it will be something special
if Prince has deciding 2 release it 2 retail stores.
