does any1 know the REAL meaning of what the represents?

it is the combination of the male sign o-> and the female sign o+. a symbol of androginy. first seen on the cover of 1999.

I think the actual definition is: A symbol that signifies the end of all popularity and public respect.

Male and Female crossed with the horn of life.

I always used to look at it as the combination of the male and female symbol, with a horn representing music.

OK ALREADY. BUT IT IS FIRST SEEN IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM ON THE COVER OF 1999 AND THEN ON THE MOTORBIKE IN PR. AND THEN IT EVOLVED INTO WHAT WE KNOW TODAY. I PREFER HIS ORIGINAL.(WITHOUT THE FLOURISHY THING)

I remember in 1992,just before the 'Love Symbol' CD came out,there was alot of speculation that Prince would,in one of his new videos,explain exactly what the symbol means.He never really explained it,so fans made up their own theories.I've heard people say that it means "Victor".
