O(+> Gold Box

Is there any way to tell the if disc inside is the regular purple one or the (Thunder) picture disc without unsealing the cd?

How many pressings count as limited edition?

The number to which the pressings were limited:

'Limited edition': a marketing term fo sell more product.

I have it, opened it the other day after it being all sealed and stuff, just had to. It's purple shiny silk screen with little O+> signs all around the edges pointing inward.

What is this "Thunder" picture disk you talk about?

Describe it please.

I have the regualr cd and the 'limited edition' cd...the disc for both is the same (so is the booklet, BTW). You end up paying extra just for a foil stamped gold colored cardboard box.

I thought the 'Batman In A Can' was cooler nod

The Thunder 12" pic disc was a standard UK release, be it Ltd Edition. It charted in the UK.

Yes it's a marketing tool, but it also means that it will go out of print.

So can you describe that Thunder DJ promo? What did it have silkscreened on it?

Thanks!

Oh and I actually really like that gold foil box, I kept the big labels too, which make it kind of fun and an interesting CD package. Nice to see in your collection.

I have the Limited Edition 'Symbol' CD too.The CD and the booklet is the exact same as the regular CD,the only real difference is the packaging (a gold box with a big purple symbol on the front). In 1992,this set was going for around $30 but I bought it a few years later in the marked-down bin.I paid only $12 for it.

There's also a DJ Promo version of the CD...
Packaging was that gold box with the purple symbol on it, the disc itself had the same picture on it as the "Thunder" UK 12"...

Yeah, I bought one on e-bay a couple of years ago.
I got the Gold foil box limited edition and hoped it was the picture disc of the band but it was not sad

I only paid $7 for this thought so I was ok with it.
I thought they all had picture disc's in them.

yup, I picked up the band picture cd at a used CD store as well a few years ago.

it was quite funny, because I had lost an auction for one on ebay that day in which the price sky rocketed to $30, decided for the first time to wonder through the store, and there it was for $10, and no shipping.
this message brought to you by logic.
