Prince is so gonna rock Glasto i watching REM on friday nite and i started thinking about if Prince could go down well at Glasto and i definitely think so. i was listening to REM and i didn't recognize any of the songs until the choruses came in and the crowd loved it. they even played lesser known stuff. it made me think about ONA live and how Prince only played a few very well known songs and everything else was from TRC or they were album tracks. plus there were loads of bands on the main stage that i know that everyone is not into like the Sugababes and even Jimmy Cliff (who was great!), was just given so much love.
if Prince plays a setlist consisting of mainly hits and well known sings than he will ge accepted greatly but if he gets up there and starts talking about everyone's family name and the banished ones, then...let's hope for the best. if it rains then Purple Rain will be just magical.

Look, REM's latest albums each sold several millions copies plus they get played on radio, tv, etc. Prince's latest sold 100,000 barely and he gets no airplay. So don't compare the two. milty said: if Prince plays a setlist consisting of mainly hits and well known sings than he will ge accepted greatly but if he gets up there and starts talking about everyone's family name and the banished ones, then...let's hope for the best.
If he sticks to the hits (and doesn't do them medley style with little love), then maybe. But we are talking about Prince. © Bart Van Hemelen

You contradict your arguments:

and milty said: if Prince plays a setlist consisting of mainly hits and well known sings than he will ge accepted greatly So will he be accepted when playing lesser (or even not) known songs (like TRC) or does he has to play the hits?

Prince is so gonna not show up... EXACTLY! Dunno why everyone is getting excited, he hasn't said anything, and neither has NPGMC as far as I know. I can't see it being his thing, unless he's up for converting a load of stoned students. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

DEPENDS WHAT HE DOES ?
IF IT'S ROCK (HIS TRUE ROOTS BEFORE HE THOUGHT HE WAS BLACK AND RELIGEOUS) IT WILL BE COOL. BUT IF ITS ANYTHING FROM THE POST PRINCE YEARS WE COULD BE VERY BORED.
