All but one of the 'Camille' songs has been released in some form or another (only "Rebirth Of The Flesh" remains unreleased). So,I'm pretty sure that you are already familiar with these songs. This is the original tracklist... "Rebirth Of The Flesh" "Housequake" "Strange Relationship" "Feel U Up" "Shockadelica" "Good Love" "If I Was Your Girlfriend" "Rock Hard In A Funky Place" For more info on the 'Camille' album, click on this link... http://users.ids.net/~dmsr/camille.html

I'm pretty sure a rehearsal version of Rebirth... was released to the NPGMC.I'm not sure what versions to use though. My homemade version has:
"Rebirth Of The Flesh" (rehearsal) "Housequake" (12"version) "Strange Relationship" (SOTT) "Feel U Up" (Long Stroke from 12") "Shockadelica" (12") "Good Love" (From Bright Lights Big City Soundtrack, long than CB) "If I Was Your Girlfriend" (SOTT) "Rock Hard In A Funky Place" (Black Album) I'm not so sure about those first two though.

Ive just got hold of the Camille boot and it is good to hear all these tracks as originally intended.
Just one comment on "Rebirth" : the lyrics "kick drum pounds on the 2 & 4, all the party people get on the floor" are used in the track "Escape" which was the B side to a Lovesexy single - Glam Slam ?

the actual Camille album used the following
versions of songs... Rebirth Of The Flesh (unreleased studio version) Housequake (same as on SOTT) Strange Relationship (same as on SOTT) Feel U Up (Long Stroke) Shockadelica (12" version) Good Love (same as on Bright Lights Big City soundtrack) If I Was Your Girlfriend (same as on SOTT) Rockhard In A Funky Place (same as on the black album) The versions of Good Love, Feel U Up & Shockadelica used on the Camille album are all the original full length versions, which often only officially surfaced on the b-sides of 12"s. (or in the case of Good Love, on a soudtrack album). the studio version of Rebirth Of The Flesh has been circulating for many years. Though this version is almost always actually taken from the aborted original Crystal Ball album rather than Camille. The only difference being a slowed down Prince vocal at the end saying "come 2 the Crystal Ball" which wasn't included on the Camille version.

Boris, forgot to add that the choir, reverend/pastor, and organ intro are missing from If I Was Your Girlfriend. Just goes right into the synth linn drum bass beat. I have this boot, on tape, I admit. Received it, whoah, some 14 years ago, meeting with a classmate in college. Still funky as hell after all these years. Ocassionally listen to it. Might have to pull it out and run it through one more time this weekend. I can still even hear the pops and clicks of the stylus from the record player arm floating on the vinyl. I really wished Prince would have released Camille in 1987, and The Black Album and the other projects like they were intended to back in the mid-1980s. He could have been like George Clinton and P-Funk -- who released works by Funkadelic, Parliament, George Clinton and the whole band on a constant basis. But I think Prince did that with his Jamie Starr character -- releasing Controversy and 1999 alongside THE TIME and WHAT TIME IS IT? and Vanity 6. Flooded the market back in the early 1980s. Love to hear Camille's voice once again in a future Prince project. ... [This message was edited Fri Jun 27 8:00:55 PDT 2003 by a2grafix]
