Jumped in the car to nip out for some food and guess what's on the radio as I turn the ignition - i could never take the place of ur man...as in the first bars of the track. i had to triple take to make sure i didn't have a cd playing! anyway, it was the full album version, complete with fantastic 3-4min guitar break, so i had to drive the long way round town to listen to the whole thing.

apart from showing up how little prince is played on the radio - this was Radio 2 show about U2's Joshua Tree (I think they were playing other great albums released in the same year) - it made me realise what a great track that was. amongst the other stunning stuff on sott it always struck me as kinda average (though it's great in the sott tour movie), but when it's playing instead of some crappy chart hit it was a MASTERPIECE.

cut a long story short, I went out pi**ed off and came home in a great mood. just wanted to share...
