2morrow, She Spoke 2 Me, Madrid 2 Chicago... Personally I'm really enjoying the Reflection room updates, even if I do have all the songs.
It's interesting that all three of this week's tracks were from 'vault' releases - 2morrrow from Crystal Ball, She Spoke 2 Me from The Vault, and M2C from Year One of the NPGMC. What do you think of these three songs? 2morrrow is sweet and jazzy - for its time it was pretty cool. It reeks of Kirky J, unfortunately. And I can only hear the chorus of TMBGITW so many times... She Spoke 2 Me was a song I liked when it came out on the Girl 6 soundtrack, but it was when The Vault was released with the full version that I really appreciated it. The instrumental jazz during the second part of the song points to some of Prince's current directions. Madrid 2 Chicago wasn't a song that struck me when the sample was posted in 2000, and I'm still not a fan of the track, but the rhythm is pretty interesting for the 1998-2000 era, and with Breathe too I became interested in the full album. I would love to hear the whole thing - or even just find out what other songs were on there. Anything else we've heard, I wonder?

I am personally a big fan of all these songs.
Interesting that they all have a "2" in the title. WOW! I'm freaking out! "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan
