This must be the 4th time I've answered this question and that's because I love saying that the first Prince concert I saw was shit! At least that was my first impression of the Nude Tour concert I saw in 1990. The first 20 minutes were brilliant and then it just petered out until the encore of Partyman and Baby I'm A Star. | |

December 27, 1997 @ the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit. With it being my very first concert, I thought it was the greatest thing I had ever seen. But that was about 1 year b4 I discovered bootlegs and UPTOWN magazine. Once I caught wind of what was out there underground, (and seeing him 3 more times since then), it is now my least favorite concert/tour/era. My dad's first concert was at the June 7th 1986 Cobo Hall show. I still have the pictures he took at the show, and I love watching the circulating video and comparing the photos 2 what I see on my TV screen... |
