Why is it when someone speaks their mind and says something critical, their comments get labeled as "negative" and basically grouped with the Devil himself???

IMO some people can not stand to know that Prince is not the perfect God they think he is. He is far from perfect and makes all kinds of stupid decisions. Some people can't take any criticism about anything he does or says. Some people think the sun shines out of his ass too. In reality Prince is just a man who makes mistakes and doesn't always think of his faithful fans. It's too bad because without us, he wouldn't even be selling the few thousand cd's he does each year. The music club is ok, but once again Prince has forgotten about his fans that may not have a pc or access to one. I guess his philosophy is if you want his music bad enough, you will beg, borrow or steal a computer to get it. Sometimes I think the man needs to get a grip and come back down to reality.

Oh please, the critizism that sprews around here is hardly constructive. Or anything vaguely resembling honest. It's mostly hatred that is harbored inside of most of you, with simply no other place to go. Half of it hasn't got anything to do with Prince really anyway. Don't think so...go back and read some of the garbage the fills place.


Most of you are using Prince as your own punching bag because your real life is empty and there is no one else for you to pick on. Most of you really like Prince and wish you could feel the joy his music has brought to so many, but your souls are dark and he can't lighten them for you. So you resent him for that and those he does make happy as well.

And that my dear panel is the reason behind the madness.

Sure there's definitely some asskissers and haters among us. Strangely I've been called both. But it seems to me that if you like or hate something Prince has done for whatever reason then cool. It doesn't haveto turn into my opinion vs. yours. Or maybe it does, WTF do I know?

you wanna know something interesting? i was reading up on moby's journal and here's what he says as of June 15, 2003. it's about istanbul, and the islamic culture and how it compared to the european culture. oddly enough it echoes what prince has to say in "The Moors':

mobyp.s-given the prominence that islam plays in the world today i think that everyone should at some point visit a mosque and learn firsthand that islam is primarily a peaceful religion. it was fascinating to see that when europe was gripped by the 'dark ages' the islamic world was, for the most part, quite civilized and advanced, with great universities and scholarship and astronomy and mathematics that far surpassed what was going on in europe. it's safe to say that if you were a muslim during the 'dark ages' that you would have looked at europeans as unwashed savages. during this period europeans would bathe once a year whereas people in the islamic world would have bathed every time they visited a mosque.
it's all very interesting, isn't it?

The nutcases that insist Prince can do no wrong, and compare anything remotely critical of him to pure evil, are retards. They give those who enjoy his music a bad reputation.

If you want to talk about why you perhaps think a particular Prince album isn't up to par, they will bend over backwards to argue that it's his best work ever. Then liken the whole argument to a battle of good VS evil, where you're the antichrist. If you question them, you're in turn questioning positivity, ie. God.
