Saw it in the shops as four seperate cds...though i think i saw a boxset.
Heard it's not really worth getting.

It's not bad actually. I would get it if the price is reasonable - there ARE worse out there, and it is quite a nice box set - not awesome, but nice.

That's an old set. Get something with a more consistant quality. Cosmos. Deposition. Fantasia.

Each CD is picture disc with an insert, it comes with a large poster and overall was a very attractive package for the time.

It is still an nice release today, very few bootlegs have been made with such "lavish" packaging, moreso being in a longbox.

It was released in 1993 by the Italian KTs label, they were highly regarded at the time and released some excellent Prince bootlegs, along with many others from other artists.

The contents of the CD's themselves are re-issues of other bootlegs called "The Tokyo Rehearsals" 2CD and "Rare2Prince" 2CD.

Rare2Prince has outakkes...but you can find most every song in better quality on more recent bootlegs, however the other discs, "The Tokyo Rehearsals", still stands as the only bootleg to find this particular Diamdonds & Pearls rehearsal, March 1992.
