Prince videos suck dick! Whenever Prince directs his own videos, he shows how much he really sucks. I was just watching the Daisy Chain video the other day, and I almost had to scratch my eyes out and pour salt into the empty sockets to relieve the pain.

Hell, doesn't it make the fact that the songs were a hit even better!?! He was born in the video age, but never made a "thriller". He churned out vids like "Purple Rain", which was shit, and still got hits! . |

The daisy chain isn't a great video (but not many prince videos are) but only for that video, I would have never had liked the song. IMAO it makes you get into it more. Now I love the song after watching the video. It makes the song very funky & psychedelic, which I like. |

those videos were cool. i think videos and albums can be over produced. i work on music videos and it's amazing to see how directors and their egos get in the way of a simple idea or concept and then others (record co. comissioners) stick their ore in, and the video or idea generally becomes diluted and unfocused. too many cooks.
